Loved this place! The cool, fun 50s exterior and interior. The excellent service and absolutely fabulous food. Their special of the day was a clam chowder in a sourdough bowl was to die for. They fresh baked the bowls, which were steaming from the oven and packed with amazing chowder.Would eat here everyday if I lived close by.

delicious homemade food 50s diner look and not crazy expensive

I had one of the very best burgers of my life here. I just wish I could remember the exact name. It was something "Blue". It was a burger with onion straws, jalepe is, and blue cheese, and bacon. EXCELLENT! There is only one other burger in the area that is on an equal footing, and the is a Fat Smitty's burger, but it is different. Both Hi-Way 101, and Fat Smitty's are two of the hand full of great burger places in the Puget Sound region. I can count my favorites on one hand.

Kitchy, nostalgic dinner, with one of the best burgers you'll ever eat! They do excellent milkshakes and other soda fountain faves. The wait staff are friendly and will make good recommendations. Enjoy the oldies music!

Great spot to stop in for a quick bite. My family and I stopped here for lunch / breakfast and the service was great. Cozy fifties style dinner with great food. I would recommend the homemade syrup it is amazing!!! Also have to try the clam chowder, one of the best I’ve had in ages. The only thing missing was roller skates for the waitresses. Definitely will be back next time we are in the area.

Excellent burgers served by really nice people. Fish and chips were also good. Very glad we stopped here rather than settling for fast food

Giving it 3 stars because the sandwich was outstanding one of the best I have had in a long time, but i was not impressed with the service. It was made very clear that they knee i was from out of town and there was a definite difference between how they treated out of towers and locals. The waitress was snarky and borderline rude despite the fact that we were nothing but polite to her.

Our group of six ate at 101 Diner last night and we all had great meals. I had a special request. A chili burger wasn't on their menu, so I asked our waitress if they could make me one. She asked me exactly how I wanted it. It came out perfect and I enjoyed that American classic to the last bite! Thank you to our excellent waitress and cook.

Great food and good atmosphere!!! Had dinner here on a weekend away. Awesome burger and prime rib dip!!! Love the 50's diner motif and the staff was fast and friendly!! Definitely a go to if we are ever back in the area.

Heavens to Betsy! The Blue Moon Burger is sweet, savory, salty, and spicy all at the same time. Worth the calories, my friends. Eat this, skip dinner. Best sweet potato fries ever - crispier than the regular fries! They even have great fry sauce.

We ordered to go (during covid 19) and really enjoyed our food. At a restaurant like this you'd think most of the hype is over the cute themed decorations. But the food was amazing! The cornbread is something I'll order every time I go. The chili was perfect taste and heat. And the burger was delicious.

Food was delicious! We have been there several times at different times of the day and always enjoyed our meals. We will continue to go back - it is one of our favorite restaurants!

The waitress that waited on me was borderline annoying and I had to return the food because she didn't relay the message to the Cook that I wanted to hash browns extra crispy.... And when I got the plate back the eggs and German sausage where ice cold! Breakfast cost close to $20 ....I don't believe I will ever return to Diner 101

After reading someone's review I was a little sceptical... but that was hands down delicious!! The staff was very friendly and attentive. I would absolutely come back for lunch!! We came at breakfast.. the buttermilk syrup is sooo amazing!!

Best food I’ve ever had in my life. That is from my eight year old son who had the buttermilk syrup on French toast and chased it with a chocolate malt milkshake. It is pretty yummy and a stylish joint and great wait staff

Talk about lack of customer service and professionalism. Being residents of Sequim, I guess never again. Very disappointing.

5-star disappointment. After being regulars for a few years, we are no longer returning. No staff acknowledged us as we waited for a table; but, when our local friends arrived who the staff gives preferential treatment to, then the staff started to seat them without acknowledging us already waiting for a table. Unless you're from Bell Hill and have lots of money and are a high maintenance preferential customer, the service is less than stellar. It doesn't pay to spend money in Sequim if you don't come from Bell Hill. That's what the staff at Hiway 101 Diner has taught me so I wont' go back.

The have large portions. Very friendly servers. There prices are comprable to the other restaurants in Sequim and Port Angeles

The service was great as was the food. There is a high priority on cleanliness and social distancing. We visited at lunch time.
